What gets validated
Actor
Validates the actor object: mbox, mbox_sha1sum, openid, or account — with the right shape and required fields for each identifier type.
Verb
Checks that the verb has a valid IRI id and at least one language-tagged display string, following the xAPI verb requirements.
Object
Confirms the object is a well-formed Activity, Agent, Group, StatementRef, or SubStatement with the required definition fields.
IRIs and timestamps
Verifies every IRI is a resolvable IRI, and that timestamp and stored fields are valid ISO 8601 dates in the correct format.
